Why the Quiz?

As we launch the TeacherTribe.world we celebrate the fact that our Teachers are the most powerful enablers of the Knowledge Tribe. In our quest to create a knowledge tribe by igniting human curiosity we celebrate the Teacher, as central to the world of knowledge tribals.

Who can take part?

• Any Teacher (currently teaching), anywhere in the world, at any School, College or University.

• The Quiz is open to teachers of any educational institution across the world.

• Any Individual teacher can participate.

• Any number of Teachers from each institution, can take part.

• The Focus Area of the Quiz will be General Knowledge.

• The entire quiz will be organised digitally in association with TCS iON.

• There will be No Entry Fee.

ROUND ONE  (30 questions. 15 minutes. MCQ)

• Online prelim on MCQ based tentatively on September 06 or 07, 2020. The exact date will be mailed to you once you register. 

• There will two prelims one in the morning and one in the evening to help every country participate easily.

• You can appear in either one of the two prelims based on your choice of timing.

ROUND TWO (30 questions. 15 minutes. MCQ)

​

• We shall select the top 150 from Round 1 based on scores that are calculated by an algorithm that factors your answers and the time consumed by you.

• This round will also be an online MCQ based selection round.

• We shall select 16 teachers from the 150 for World Semi-Final.

SEMI FINALS (Digitally Shot Event)

​

• The 16 selected teachers will be divided into 4 groups of 4 each.

• Four semifinals will be held digitally using Google Meet and our Quizital platform.

WORLD FINALE (Digitally Shot Event)

​

• The winner from each semi-final will move into the World Final.

• The final will be shot digitally using Google Meet and our Quizital platform.

• These 5 episodes will be recorded and telecast on YouTube.

• First and Foremost, as teachers, we celebrate knowledge together.

• All those who make it to the TOP 150 of the World will get a DIGITAL CERTIFICATE

• All 16 who make it to the semi-final will get a special CITATION

• All 4 who make it to the World Final will win Digital Gift Vouchers and CITATIONS.
