For the ‘Children’s Month’ at theteacher.in, Mrs. Vinoda Harikrishna Rao, the Vice-Principal of The Brigade School, Malleswaram, has penned down a poem dedicated to children.

Children are like gems rare,
Teachers chisel them with utmost care.
They educate and discipline them with a serious face,
And empower them to be responsible individuals with grace.
Deep in their hearts teachers hold them fast,
Their care and concern never does wane.
And as long as life will last,
Children’s memories still remain.
