Giri Balasubramaniam, affectionately called Pickbrain, is an educator and noted quizmaster. His company, Greycaps, has pioneered educational initiatives across Asia catering to a staggering 16 million youngsters. As a quizmaster Giri has hosted over 4000 shows across 11 countries. He is well known TED speaker and orator. Seen every weekend on national television he is the famous host behind the Tata Crucible Quiz, the RBI Quiz, TCS IT Quiz to name a few. He is the only quizmaster in the world to have hosted quizzes at the iconic Royal Opera House, London. Mr.Giri was mentored by none less than Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the former President of India. Before becoming an educator he worked with top brands like The Economic Times and Walt Disney. He was also an Indian Administrative Fellow (IAF) advising the Dept. of Education, Government of Karnataka for close to 2 years. An alumnus of Harvard Business School (HBS), he is also a masters in Gandhian Philosophy. It was at one of his quiz shows that Dr. Kalam suggested the idea of a Teacher initiative and the need to ‘celebrate the teacher’. On his advice, TeacherTribe.world (then TheTeacher.in) was created by Pickbrain and his team, in 2013.

Rashmi is a charismatic young leader with a lot of passion for education and children, in particular. She is a well-known educator, quiz host and CoFounder of Teacher Tribe. Miss Furtado is a leading professional woman quiz host in Asia. She has hosted over 1750 quiz shows across 60 cities of India and overseas at Kuwait, Singapore and Dubai. She is popular for hosting Tata Crucible, the RBI Quiz, the Union Bank Quiz, IBPC Quiz Dubai, Canara Bank Quiz, TCSiON IntelliGem, the Rural IT Quiz, BPCL, Mindtree, Bluestar, TCS Inquizitive, Cognizant Quiz to name a few. She has the honour of being invited to Kuwait by the IIT IIM Alumni association to host quiz shows in that country, the only woman to have done that. She is featured in magazines and is a recipient of several awards, including a Business World 40 under 40 listing, the Women Economic Forum and Quiz Host of the year by SMX Business Networks. She is recognised a woman leader from IIM Calcutta by a leading magazine. She serves on the advisory board and on the corporate board of educational institutions and ed-tech companies. A TEDx speaker, she is a proud alumnus of NIT-K Surathkal and IIM Calcutta. A speaker, a trainer, she is an inspiration to many young girls.

Varsha Prasad is the Editor of the Teacher Tribe, started on the advise of former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. She is a Master's degree holder in Communication and a University topper both in her graduation and post-graduation. She passed out of her institute as the Best All-round student. Varsha has been part of the editorial team of the Global Awareness Program (GAP), for over a decade now. She has been part of national level programs for schools such as TCS Intelligem, HDFC Aspirations Quiz, RBI Quiz to name a few. She has been mentored by none less than Bala Sir, former Director Academics, CBSE. She is an advocate for women to give their best at whatever they do. She has been with Greycaps for over a decade having joined the team as a young college intern to grow to lead the content team. A voracious reader, she loves her comics, TV shows, fictional characters and treasures her book collection. Varsha is currently leading the TeacherTribe.world initiative and is a well-known face with the teacher community across India.
